Student Registration

Welcome to Patagonia Public Schools

 

 

The Patagonia Elementary, Middle and High Schools are located on a beautiful 36.19 acre campus at the east end of the Town of Patagonia. We offer many extracurricular activities after school and evening transportation to students. Open enrollment opportunities are available for eligible students.   

 

Below is a brief description of our registration process.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call our Registrar, Liz Collier, at 520-394-3002. Anyone needing an enrollment packet can pick one up from the Student Office, no appointment is necessary, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

 

To register for school next year:

 

1)    Contact the school to request a registration packet or download an enrollment packet here.  Pre-registration is strongly recommended and can be completed any time before the beginning of next school year.  Information needed by the school includes:

 

a.    Copy of birth certificate or passport

 

b.    Proof of Arizona residency: copy of a utility bill or some other document that shows student’s physical address

 

c.    Copy of Immunization record

 

If you live outside the Patagonia Public Schools’ district, please complete the Open Enrollment Formand turn it in with your enrollment packet.

 

2)    If you plan to participate in sports (Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Softball  or Baseball), we will need the following:

 

a.    Completed copy of 2017-2018 Annual Pre-participation Physical Evaluation completed by your medical provider.

 

3)    For middle school and high school students, grades 6-12, registration for classes will be held from August 1 – August 4th, 2017 at the Patagonia Public Schools.  Students will pick up their fall class schedule and student handbooks.  Class and sports fees will be collected at that time:

 

a.    High school sports - $50 for the year, includes all sports

 

b.    Middle school sports - $30 for the year; includes all sports

 

c.    Class fees:      $10 for music; $10 for art*; $10 for Ag Science*

*high school students only

 

d.    Club fees:        $1.00 for FFA

 

e.    Swim fees:      $1.00 for access to the pool all season

 

Preschool students who are 1) four years old, 2) will be five years old for kindergarten the following school year, and who are potty trained can register on the main campus in the Student Office for our morning half-day program.  Enrollment is limited and reserved for District children only.

 

Elementary students who received their registration packets last school year and completed them are done with the process.  Once again, anyone needing an enrollment packet can pick one up from the Student Office, no appointment is necessary, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
